Therapeutic Riding Center

Facility & Vision

The facilities at Lothlorien are designed to accommodate disabled riders following the strict safety guidelines established by NARHA. We utilize specially built mounting ramps, a wide variety of adaptive equipment and the cooperation of our trusted, loyal and specially trained horses.

The facility consists of three pastures, 16 stall barn, large outdoor riding arena, indoor riding arena, a classroom, storage shed, hay barn, office and home for the Stable Manager. The grounds are surrounded by beautiful trees and offer a tranquil, secluded setting for all to relax and enjoy their visit.

Future Vision

Our ability to maintain and expand our programs is tied directly to the success of our fundraising efforts. We do not receive any funding from federal or state governments; we are supported through the generous assistance of neighborhood partners, individuals, foundations and corporations.
