Blossom

1985 Sorrel Quarter Horse Draft Cross Mare
Winners Circle sponsorship by the Niagara Falls Harley Owners Group
Starting Gate sponsorship by Mrs. Shirley Bardo

Blossom is one of the oldest horses participating in our program and has served our riders for fourteen years. Blossom is used in most of our classes for beginner and intermediate riders, and is also a participant in our annual Student Horse Show. At 13.2 hands tall, Blossom is known by volunteers and staff as the horse with the long, hairy, woolly coat. We help rid her of her coat once a year with a nice body clip that takes us several hours. Somewhat of a loner in the pasture, she always enjoys a chance to  sunbathe.

GreyStone

"Stoney," a middle-aged pony, stands at 13.2 hands tall and has been part of our riding program for five years. Affectionately dubbed “Stoney the Pony,” he is a barn favorite amongst our volunteers and staff. “Stoney” is used often in our classes and works well with beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders. He is also a participant in our annual Student Horse Show. He is one of the boss geldings in the pasture but can often be seen hanging out in the pasture with Lucky.

Dixie

1990 Quarter Horse Mare
Donated by The Zittle Family
Starting Gate sponsorship by Clay Delay Company, Michele & Bill Kray

“Dixie” stands at 15.2 hands tall and is one of the older horses participating in our program this year. Before coming to our facility she was a mounted police horse and is another favorite with our Horse Exercise Program riders. We have great expectations for this new Equine Therapist.

Silky

1988 Flea Bitten Welsh Pony
Triple Crown sponsorship by the VIYU Foundation

Silky stands at 13 hands tall and is one of the older ponies working in our program. She has been part of the riding program for nine years, and is also a participant in our annual Student Horse Show. Silky is known for her fast walk and "Come on, let’s go!" attitude. Although she is small, she is a lot of horse.....well, pony. She tries to be the queen of the pasture, and can usually be seen with her sidekick Spice.

All Star Chipper J
